A program where we train and then leverage members of our league or alumni ages 13 - 17 as umpires for our t-ball, 8u and 10u games. 

This program is a way for the park to give back to its members and ex-members by giving these umpires opportunity to gain experience while staying connected to the sport of baseball.

You e-mail jhansen@citrusparksa.org indicating you have an interest in becoming a junior umpire. If we have space for the current season, we will arrange for a training session to assess your knowledge and help get you going.

Once you complete the training successful, we would look to schedule you for games.

Several good reasons:

• You give back to the community and get personal satisfaction of giving our young players great baseball experiences
• It can count towards volunteer hours
• You learn more about the game of baseball, managing difficult conversations and situations and leadership skills that will be useful in school and your professional life later
• You help our CP park and community
